Challenge:

The challenge was twofold: to introduce a brand-new event to the trail running community that captured their imagination and loyalty from the outset, and to seamlessly integrate The North Face’s brand presence in a way that felt both authentic and compelling. We aimed to elevate the participant experience, ensuring that the inaugural Épisode NORR set a high standard for future editions.

Solution:

Summer Activation Concept: We launched our 2023 summer activation concept with Épisode NORR, introducing the Collector’s Program—a personalized engagement strategy allowing participants to receive a custom patch for each event. These patches, iron-on ready, offered a unique way for participants to carry their memories with them on their favorite The North Face gear.

Brand Visibility: Our approach to brand visibility was comprehensive, ensuring that The North Face’s presence was felt throughout the event space. From strategically placed signage to themed installations, we created a cohesive and immersive brand environment that resonated with the event’s outdoor and adventurous spirit.

Engaging Brand Experience: By curating a series of interactive and engaging touchpoints, we provided participants with memorable experiences that connected them more deeply with The North Face brand. This included everything from the initial welcome to the final celebration, making every moment of their journey feel special and supported.
